Current State Of Affairs
Talton's leader, current head of police, Senior Officer Kloud is an honest man, and is trying to establish Talton as a world power, as the citizens of Talton know. He is constantly improving the army and police force of Talton, and allows nothing to stand in the way of the countrys economy, unfortunately this is having serious repercussions on the environment. The main source of the countries income, Uranium mining, is booming, allowing many of Taltons citizens to have a large amount of money and the Throwing Axe, the currency of Talton is currently worth more than the American dollar. There is little room for Talton's growing population and a one child policy has been introduced, along with deportation and tough immigration into the country. Military service is compulsary and requires men and women to sign up at a very young age. Within the region, Civfanatica, Talton has the joint second most influence with the beaverocracy of Ibus and answers only, but not willingly to the extreme socialists, Freedonia
Cities In Talton
Ildorad: Ildorad is the capital city of Talton and is very industrious. It was originally built on the Oarland River, but the river has since dried up due to deforestation. The main style of building in Ildorad is appartment blocks, with fishing industry and docks closer to the river's space. To save space in the city appartment blocks are used as shops, no new construction is allowed and bigger shops such as supermarkets are built in old harbour buildings. As there is no room for more space demanding leisure facilities, a small "entertainment village" was built nearby.
Leborillian: This is the new industrial city built on the uranium mine under the famous Green Lake. All the buildings are in modern style. It is being populated at great speed as the uranium mine offers a lot of well paid jobs, although at surface value it looks impressive, on the inside it is a filthy environment with lots of ugly heavy industry buildings in the middle. Although it was once a popular holiday resort, the lake is no longer accessible by tourists and the famous green glow it used to resonate is no longer visible due to the extraction of the uranium.
Hjilborn: Hjilborn was the city chosen to host the national space program. Its previous successes include the pepsi publicity stunt of making a pepsi bottle shaped rocket to send to outer space, the creation of a fully functional space weapons platform and the building of anti-UFO weapons. Much like Roswell, USA, it has become a popular tourist resort and makes a large sum of money every year from alien conspiricy. Hjilborn is in a densely covered forest area and is probably the most environmentally friendly part of the nation.
Fjijn: Fjijn (pronounced Fyi-uyn)is built in the middle of the desert, an antique town built upon a gold mine. It is very popular among the richer as an out of the way resort. The main attraction in Fjijn is the huge manor house which is open to the public. It has a swimming pool, lawn and garden, offers a restaurant service and is free of admission charge.
