Humanites are a race of clones, originally mindless slaves created by the technology of the human inhabitants of Sothfar to colonize Eden-IV. Humanites are extremly resistant to environmental factors that would be absolutely lethal to a human and thus were used to terraform the planet's irradiated slagheaps into a vivid green paradise. When the Kurnikovarium meteorite is discovered and the substance begins to mutate the inhabitants of the planet into telepaths, the Humanites too gain free will and choose to become humans, unaware of what they really are. After the end of the Psion War, alot of nations popped up on the planet, inhabited by Humanites that thought to be humans. Most of the Characters of Eden-IV find out, at some point, about their true nature.

In Dragons Of Metropolis, the Humanites (along with other -ites, like Dragonites, Demonites and Angelites) were the species the upper class belonged to: Infertile, but far superior humans, Humanites were created by genetic engineering and replicate via cloning technology since at some point, the upper class found their human form unfitting and imperfect and thus turned to genetic technology to relieve this state. Unlike the Humanites of Eden-IV, these humanites were fully conscious and not servants, but masters of the ordinary humans.
