Hallevor has had a Democracy since it's founding. Even when the democracy only had one party. Here's a list of parties both current and historical.
Current parties
- Objectivist Party: The Objectivist Party has been the dominant party since it's founding in the 1970s. It mainly runs along Minarchist philosophy, and not entirely Rand's Objectivist philosophy. It has had numerous people in office and senate, and has been dominant in restricting the state.
- Traditionalist Party: The Moral, Father Knows Best type of government which uses the Bible as it's platform.
- Statist Party: This is a small minority party which causes for reduction of political and civil rights, it hasn't elected any members to any political office.
- Socialist Party: The Marxists and Liberals in the party advocates political and civil freedoms but wants to tighten the economic freedoms. The Party has a few mayors in northern cities as well as a few town council members.
- Communist Party: A party mainly of workers and workers unions. They long for the days of old Communism and statism.
Former parties of note
- Old Communist Party: The old party of dictatorship with bloody hands. Known to have killed thirty five million people with in the time of two five year plans.
- Fascist Party: A party that eventually joined together with the Tradionalist Party.
