The Democratic Republic of Grevy is a little-know yet fast-growing nation. Among the few that do know of it know it as fair and equal, often changing its politics, with or without intention, but always revoling around a leftist political theory. The UN juggles its titles often due to this. In its previous year, it was labled as no less than four titles: "New York Times Democracy" (its ideal basis government), "Inoffensive Centrist Democracy", "Democratic Socialists" and, for a short time due to disorganized data, "Capitalist Paradise".
An ironic fact: Grevy's biggest industry is Arms Manufacturing, yet it doesn't put a cent into Defense Funds! See the NSEconomy.

Grevy Political System
Filler Party
Although Grevy has politics off the heels of the United States, they have developed a unique election system. It is known as the Filler Party System.
In it, there are three Parties:
- The Democratic Party of Grevy, based on the United States' Democratic Party
- The Capitol Party of Grevy, influenced by the United States' Republican Party and based on the theory of Capitalism
and...
- The Independant Slot
What is The Independant Slot?
The Independant Slot, also known as "The Third Party Club", is a democratic version of achieving ballot status. Only three parties are allowed on the ballot, and two slots are used up by the Democrats and the Capitols. This allows a single Third Party to appear on the ballot, giving everyone a fair chance. Many times in the past, the Independant candidate won the general election, most of which served for two terms. They have been proven to have just a good of a chance of winning as the major parties do.
How do you pick the Party?
In order to decide who fills the slot, a series of Primaries are held. The first of which are called Level 3 Primaries. These are help within the individual parties to determine which candidate they will field, just like any other party. After those are over, the Level 2 Primaries, also known as The Elimination Round, begin. Considering the fact that an average of fifteen parties run per election, candidates are formed into three seperate groups (usually made up of five people) by the Supreme Court and Senate and debate. Whoever received the most votes in their respective groups moves onto the Level 1 Primaries. These primaries are at the same level as their major party counterparts. Whoever wins fills the Independant Slot. While the losing parties can't appear on the ballot (there is no such thing as a write-in), they are still free to endorse any official candidate they wish.
This forumula goes for any and all political events in Grevy.
