The United Socialist States of Holyboy and the 666s is a very large, socially progressive nation, renowned for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 103 million enjoy some of the most opulent lifestyles in the region, unless they are unemployed or working-class, in which case they are variously starving to death or crippled by easily preventable diseases.
It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Commerce, and Social Equality. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 33%. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Gambling.
Max Barry is this year's Miss Holyboy and the 666s, scenic mountain valleys are flooded with water as damming projects get underway, nervous homeowners have been blamed for rising death rates amongst carol singers and locksmiths, and drunk drivers are sent to rehabilitation paid for by the government. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is moderate, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. Holyboy and the 666s's national animal is the blue the angry duck, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the psycotic zebra.
The History of Holyboy and the 666s
The proud country of The United Socialist States of Holyboy and the 666s did not start out as one country, but as two, as the name might suggest; The Dominion of Holyboy and the Dictatorship of the 666s However, these two nations were never buddies. In fact, the War of the Unnatural almost tore both countries. However, they worked out their differences, and found a way to work together. But what brought these enemies in war just 10 years earlier to come together and negotiate into the proud nation we are?
Why did they Join Together
After the formation of the United Nations on November 13, 2002, neither the Dominion of Holyboy nor The Dictatorship of the 666s were invited to join this proud organization, because of their war-torn societies. Since the members of the United Nations did not trade with nations outside of UN, both the economies of the Dominion of Holyboy and The Dictatorship of the 666s went downhill. They both soon realized that they needed to settle their differences and ban together, and become The United Socialist States of Holyboy and the 666s On June 20, 2005, the nation was born and Wendenol Flipin the Third was sworn in as the first Prime Minister of Holyboy and the 666s
Geography
The borders of The United Socialist States of Holyboy and the 666s are shared by many nations. To the North and North-west, the bordors are shared by The Empire of Babaganoosh123 To the North and West, we have a bordor shared by The Empire of Yuuyake and to the West, there is The United Socialist States of Mindus. To the South-west, there is a short stretch of bordor shared by The Republic of Hammer2026 Through the Elpha Mountain Range, the Holyboy and the 666s borders The Republic of Elphabaleah to the south. though trade with Elphabaleah is scarce. Southwest through the same mountain range, and west without the range, it the border of The Emirate of Poornimites however, the government has been inactive for some time, and the government is currently in negotiations to regain the lost lands from the Dictatorship of the 666s
