A Legislative Assembly is a body or institution that is charged with passing, or approving legislation or laws that a nation state wishes to enact. Such an assembly may or may not have a representative role within a nation. An assembly is often, but not always, elected by democratics means.

The Vertosan Legislative Assembly

The State of Vertosa has Legislative Assembly that scrutinises legislation and holds the government to account. This assembly does not serve any representative function, that is the role of the Confederal Assembly.

The VLA has 200 seats. Each seat represents one constituency. The are usually about 10-15 constituencies in a Confederal District.
