Introduction

History

Records about Ancient Ivorila are scarce, but the examination of ruins in the northern mountainside show that native Ivorilians may be at least partially descended from Urallians or Zedoljevs. An ancient form of Zlevic was found carved liberally into the remains of a fortress in the foothills of the Carnegie mountain range, and while the translation process is going slowly, evidence seems to support the theory of Urallian descendance.

For hundreds of years the original land of Ivorila was mostly ruled by a series of brutal warlords with little idea of economics or trade. The most well known of these bandit warlords was Duke Hamran "Iron Legs" Leltzor (STS 1875 - 1939), who often prided himself on the number of wenches he could ravish in ten minutes. In STS 1973 a government was formed to organize the people, but it had little support and reverted back into rival city states in STS 2034. In 2044, the massive space-faring ship Enigma entered the atmosphere of F'rama III and requested the Ivorilian countryside to rule. After consideration, the request was granted. The huge ship landed at the base of Alrenko Peak and opened the cargo bays. From within poured the combined might of the Black Legion, the organized and single-minded cybernetic army with a collective memory and no apparent leader at the time. Within a few short weeks the entire nation was under control of the Black Legion, bar a few small settlements on the outskirts.

After the complete takeover of the country, the Black Legion consolidated it's hold by naming the new nation Ivorila, after the old Sanscript word for "First of Many". With the entire country united as one and under control, they began the building of a city on the very superstructure of the Enigma itself. This huge city was named New Rantar, after the far-off moon where the Black Legion were originally engineered. New Rantar was made the capital, and construction of a similar nature began on the other cities already part of Ivorila.

In STS 2045, the leader of the Black Legion saw fit to give itself an embodiment. Through scientific means, the general collective of the Black Legion was implanted into the mind of a young Terran woman who had been killed in a riot against the Black Legion.

Leaders and Characters

Monroe Oscar

STS 1963 - STS 2052

The 1st First Minister of Ivorila, who held the position for three years (STS 2045 - 2047) immediately after the defeat of the Black Legion. Before the victory, he was one of the key leaders of the Ivorilian Unicracy Party (IUP) and was known as a capable leader. His term as First Minister was notable for the foundation of a free society and gradual change into unicracy, but he was unpopular with the people, who believed him to be doing little to change Ivorila. After he was voted out of office in 2047, he retired from public life and died quietly on 13th of February, 2052.

Liertes Clark

STS 2019 - ???

The 3rd First Minister of Ivorila, currently still in office from 2052 to the present. Not much is known about his early life other than the fact that his mother was an immigrant from the company MDKCorp, and his father was a small time engineer in Ivorila. Rose to prominence in the UIP on his pro-business stance, he became Second Minister to Esfaer Donovan during his term as First Minister. Liertes Clark was a big campaigner for the national voting system and shortly after his election to First Minister, he finished the system before the end of 2053, and has shown to be a competant leader in most respects. However, unbeknownst to the people of the SUI, he has his own agenda and is more than willing to make unethical deals with rivals. He also serves a great unknown power.

Cameron Fleur

STS 1999 - ???

Second Minister of Ivorila during the time of Liertes Clark. An older man than Liertes, he spent most of his life in politics, and his tip to staying alive in a time when politics can be dangerous is to "be unimportant". During the years he mostly stayed in minor roles in politics, such as Secretary of the Guild Union in 2024, Deputy Minister of Trade for the New Cyberian Immigrants Collective in 2028 and Foreign Press Secretary of the Socialist Party in Spifflandia. When he joined the UIP shortly before the end of the Black Legion, he rose to a minor position but gradually rose up through the ranks. He became Second Minister to Clark under close scrutiny.

Sharon Hamilton

Personal aide to FM Clark during his time as First Minister.

Esfaer Donovan

STS 2012 - ???

2nd First Minister of Ivorila, after Monroe Oscar and before Liertes Clark. Esfaer originally served as a minor freedom revolutionary during the time of the Black Legion, and earned his fame through a series of daring raids and battles against the Black Legion shortly before the de-activation. During this time, like many other revolutionaries, he went under an alias: M0le. Shortly after the legitimization of the the new Ivorilian government, he was promoted to a Commander of the Blue Spectres, an elite counter-military team. Fighting in Operation Cleansing for a year, he became wrapped up in politics and made his way up to First Minister as a puppet for members of UIP who hoped to use his popularity as a way of consolidating their own positions. For several years he followed a non-controversial policy and concentrated on maintaining economic stability, but after a botched assassination attempt by Anubinian merceneries he became increasingly erratic and ecentric. After the attack he was severly wounded and prefered to hide his scarred face underneath his prized gas mask he wore in the Blue Spectres. His masters found they could no longer control him on the stage, and after trying to completely change the Ivorilian constitution, he resigned at the end of his second term (STS 2052), leaving the stage for Liertes Clark, a more willing pawn. As a show of good faith, he was appointed High Commander of the

Adrian Mullestein

STS 2005 - ???

Foreign Minister of Ivorila from STS 2047 to the present. During the terms of Esfaer Donovan he played a low key role in foreign policy, but with the election of Laertes Clark his position has become more prominent. Adrian served briefly as an ensign in the New Cyberian Armed Forces early on his life, having left the lands that would become Ivorila to find a new home. For years he bummed around the globe, making contacts and friends in nearly every nation there is. He considers Nurdbotia to be his second country, and has dual citizenship there. Adrian occasionally has temper flares in response to bad news.

Elwood Hayes

STS 2017 - ???

The President of the minority party Economic Strength Now!, Elwood Hayes has a strong background in Teral and wants the same lifestyle for Ivorila. Elwood has been called obnoxious by members of his own party, and he is often vocal on subjects of little importance. Despite his objections to Unicracy and the UIP, he is intensely loyal to both Ivorila and the government. Prefers more right wing Liertes Clark to Esfaer Donovan, but would still rather have his own party in power. He is known to have mild narcolepsy and occasionally falls asleep during important meetings.
