The Holy Empire of Vitalina (forthwith known as HEV) is a spiritually and environmentally rich nation, which prides itself in the cleanliness of their streets, the manners of their children, and the honesty of their lawyers. The country is well-known for their rampant, and oft-times terrifying, display of compassion and conservativism. Crime is relatively unknown in Vitalina, as all public areas are under constant surveillance and all Vitalinians between the ages of 18 to 28 must serve at least one year in the military. Upon completion of that year, they become citizens and are eligible to vote.

In the mass exodus of 2005-10-20, an intrepid band of six sovereign nations, long persecuted for their religious and political beliefs, set forth toward freedom and founded the great region of what is now The Sovereign Nations of Quagmire. One of the founding nations was the HEV.
The Sovereign Nations of Quagmire (forthwith called the SNQ) prides itself in their overarching beliefs of “All Nations under One God.” Compulsory military service is a norm for most countries, and vegetarianism is seen as wasteful.
Regional affairs are governed by the founding members of the SNQ. This elite group is comprised of the following nations: The Democratic Republic of Vitalinia, The Holy Empire of Vitalina, The Holy Empire of Roncelynia, The Republic of Jaymans, The Republic of Calvista, and The Oppressed Peoples of Vitalistan. Collectively, they are known as “The Sensational Six.”
