The Dominus Consum in Statis Naumarinax, also known as the Consolidated Dominion of Naumarine States, or The Naumarine States as it is colloquially known, is a large, currently geographically ambiguous nation functioning via what is effectively an extreme plutocratic system. The nation shuns democracy, adhering to the principle of "ona gentex, ona regex, ona levex" - in translation, "one man, one rule, one law".

The vast majority of the Naumarine States' people are Brontians. The region currently comprising the Dominus Consum was once occupied by several smaller nations formed around clans of Brontian stock, of which Naumara was one. These tribal days have long since faded into the distant past, and most Naumarines identify themselves as Naumarines first and Brontians second - the latter usually in an effort to harken back to the classical Divine High Kingdom of Talabrontes in an effort to recapture the glory of that once-mighty empire.

The dominant language of the Naumarine States is Brontian, a tongue bearing passing resemblance to Latin.
