Background
The Union of Indier is a small country in Asia formed in 2084 and encompasses much of Malabar Front.
History
The erstwhile country of India was split into two when the inhabitants of North India formed [Navi Bharat] after a failed Anglo-American invasion. The country now enjoys the highest levels of political and social freedoms after learning from the mistakes of old India.
Government and Politics
Navi Bharat is a Socialistic Republic.
Economy
Close to 1.5 centuries of fighting has left the economy impovershed and is struggling to pick up. The country has a developed automobile manufacturing industry and an underground hi-tech industry.
Religion
The country is strongly atheistic, with a very small religious population. Religious acceptance is a matter of personal preference in Indier. The state strongly believes in separation of Religion and Governance.
Culture
Since the formation of Indier/Navi Hindustan, the people left behind were the aborigines with a strongly developed culture. The surviving literature dates back to 3000 BC.
