Polokarn

Polokarn is the capital city of Polok. It is a huge modernised city with a population of 32 million. It has varied culture with many theatres, museums and art galleries. The city of Polokarn is built around the ancient ruins of what is believed to be the Kutek monastery, the first monastery in Polok. Polokarn features many buildings of exceptional architecture, for example the Polokian government building, which is the tallest tower in Polok. It is situated right in the centre of Polokarn. There are no roads in Polokarn, people commute by maglev or hover transport. It was found early on that the traffic in central Polokarn would make road travel too inefficient, so a network of maglevs and underground trains was decided as the favoured form of transport. This is the case with all other major Polokian cities. Since Polokarn is the financial cener of Polok it is the home of most of the nation's major businesses. Foreign businesses also have major offices in Polokarn, since the city is one of the major financial centers of The Imperium of Might.
