Government
The Government is created and changed with the Heads of each Unit being voted in and out of office every two years. The Sub-unit Commanders are voted in and out of office every three years. However, the Head of Unit has to answer to the Overlord. It is this that follows in Birthright.
Overlord
Overlord of Drak-Lithran: Paladin Litharan
The Overlord is only gained by Birthright, or a pass-over of power before death. The Overlord is the highest position in the Government and with it carries much power, yet so many tasks to do. Apart from helping the Law-making process and the courts, the Overlord has to ensure fair elections for Heads of Unit and Sub-Unit Commanders. This could be named as the Exectutive.
NB: Despite the title being "Overlord" a female can take this position.

Unit of War
Head of Unit: Leo "Bladesaint" Eriksson
The Unit of War is more than just attacking and killing. Defence also plays a major part, with counter-mesures from attack in place. Emergancy policing is also aided by this Unit, coupled with the Unit of Order. The training of the Army, The Navy and The Air Force is extremly important, as they need to be scrambled in order to reach areas quickly.
Unit of Order
Head of Unit: Jade Årud
The Unit of Order takes care of policing, Law and order but also looks after emergancy situations such as fire, flood, earthquake ect. Emergancy Planning falls to the Unit of Order, to try and bring Order to Chaos. The Judiciary and Legislature are ruled by this unit, but they do accept the other Unit's influences.
Unit of Economy
Head of Unit: Juliet Bellafontaine
This Unit is solely about money. What comes in, what goes out, where it is and who's using it. The Claw is this Unit's lifeblood. They look after all Commerce, Exports, Imports and other Trading. Budgets are set through this unit.
Unit of Culture
Head of Unit: Ayana Mneme Lihan
Arts, Education, The faith of the nation all rests on this Unit. They help to keep the populaton happy and educated. The current belif instilled by this unit is always strong and will never waver unless the belif changes. The Art, music and poems are all published through here too, for a modest fee.
Unit of Science
Head of Unit: Beowulf Akari
The resarch of the nation hinges on this Unit's ability to discover about the world around them. Fact or Fiction? Myth and Magic or Fact and Science? This unit will decide. All the other units benifit from this one, as they research weapons, armour, new drugs and other treatments, along with other things.

History
- Pre 1950 - Unknown
- 1956 - Claims of a Time Portal are made by the repubic of Drak
- 1961 - A major accident caused the science team to be changed into part animal hybrids, and the release of Dragons into Drak.
- 1973 - The mutated team demand for their own Capital and their own Juristiction.
- 1980 - The demand was denied by the President and Otr Lithran leads the team to the Capital. A protest ensues.
- 1984 - The group split away, naming themselves the Nation of Drak-Lithran.
- 1985 - Paladin Lithran is born to Otr and Mary Lithran.
- 1989 - Paladin serves as Head of Unit for the Unit of War.
- 1993 - Drak attemps reestablishment of the group into the Republic, after seeing the new Nation. It fails violently.
- 2000 - Otr Lithran retires as Overlord, however, Paladin is too inexperienced to become Overlord. The position is assumed by Mary.
- 2003 - "The Dragon Waves". The mass movement of dragons into the area. This leads Mary to adopt them as the National Animal.
- 2005 - Gold peices are retired as currency and the Claw is used as replacement.
- 2006 - Mary dies by assassination. Paladin Lithran takes the Overlord position. The Nation joins the UN.
