Origins

Lexington was originally built on the Great Southern Plain of Okielahoma in the 4th century by nomadic hunters. This small settlement was sacked years later by invading tribes from the east. These tribal peoples where skilled architects and began the construction of a city into the great mountain cliff nearby. For hundreds of years they carved and chiseled making great halls, homes and walls into the mountain.

Schiavonian Era

Finally completed in the late 16th century, Lexington was the only city never to be occupied by Schiavonian colonists around 1714. In 1734 a massive earthquake completely obliterated the city as the entire place came crashing to the ground. Construction on a new city began shortly thereafter, this time farther away form the fault but still on the mountain. Construction officially began in 1741 and continued nearly without interruption until 1845. Lexington became the crown pride of the 47th island of Schiavonia, at that time known as Okieschia. Lexington grew and bustled into the major city of Okieschia, with settlements extending for 2 miles outside it's walls and a population of around 640,000. In 1906 an attack by western bandits destroyed the entire community outside the walls and that outside settlement has never regrown to it's former size.
