Pan-Terran is a language widely spoken in human communities all over the universe. It developed from and took substantial influence from English, Arabian, Russian, Indian, Spanish and Chinese. Minor influence came from French, and, even less, German. Earth governments also put heavy influence on the development of the language at times, enforcing influence from Latin. At a certain time, Pan-Terran replaced the local languages of all peoples of Earth and became the language of all human settlements that were established on other planets. Over time, isolated colonies developed individual variants of Pan-Terran and split off from the main language.
