The Kingdom of Watchguard is ruled by an elected King who has total power over everything except passing laws. Laws start at a town level and are voted on strictly by majority. The king serves for one year. he may be voted out by a majority vote. The King leads and elite branch of the military known since ancient times as the "Marching Band" They were always the first to fight.

Economy

The economy of The Kingdom of Watchguard is a hugely powerful country. They control large mines of ores, gold, and silver in the west. They have a small amount of farmland is the far west where they grow much less food than they need to sustain the country. In addition to the mining industry they also export huge amounts of lumber and high-end electronics. They use most of the ore mined in the country, mainly iron and nickel. They import coal, petroleum products, food, and refined metals. Their is a large variety of jobs provided in Watchguard. The most common is a factory job. There are many different kinds of factory jobs but most consist of boring repetitive labor. They earn a fairly high wage compared to other countries. The mine jobs are not much better. although they get a fairly large amount of money the work is dangerous and extremely hard.

Military

The Military of Watchguard is small and effective fighting force. It consists of The Royal Navy, Royal Air Force, the Royal Mechanized Divisions. Each consists of a small amount of highly trained and extremely well equipped men.

The Royal Navy consists of mostly huge carriers loaded with medium bombers able to destroy huge cities easily. There are also a number of lightly armored Patrol Torpedo boats to defend the carriers on raids and long voyages. The government also owns a large amount transport ships it uses mainly for trade. This is the main source of money to fund the huge army.

The Royal Air Force consists of mainly fighters and heavy bombers. The bombers are mainly B-2 style, large, bulky, and heavily armed. They rarely need to worry about return fire once the payload has been dropped. Their is also a large number of heavy fighters in the air force to assist the huge bomber squadrons. They also maintain a squadron of paratroopers which function as the kingdom's only regular ground soldiers.

The Royal Mechanized Division is a collection of artillery and tank divisions. They use the artillery when bombing is too difficult or expensive. they simply bombard a target with artillery then move in tanks and armored. They are highly effective and are the backbone of the entire armed forces.
