Re: Talk:Splendiferniss. I moved the page, but then thought about it for a bit. How do you know that the wrong nationname was used in this instance? If this nation is in your region or belongs to a friend, fine. If you're just correcting spelling because it looks misspelled, be aware that NationStates nations are often misspelled by their owners. It is more important that we accurately chronicle the NS names than that they be spelled according to standard dictionaries. Make any such changes extremely gingerly unless you are certain of the facts.

Also, you've been stubbing pages like crazy around here. Any particular reason? Unlike Wikipeida, any given nation page can only be edited by a single user, as only that nation's owner really has the true history of his nation. It's not all that helpful to wiki novices, which is mostly what we have here. If you're looking to make a contribution to the site, it would be better if you concentrated on improving "common" pages, or adding administrative details like categories and infoboxes. Just a thought. → Fris Θtalk 23:39, 20 Mar 2005 (GMT)

  • About Splendiferniss: This nation, now ex-nation in fact, was indeed in my region so Im sure of that fact. About the extreme stubbing, I have indeed been overzealous. Though someone else did that to my nation's article so I assumed it was in order. I suppose Ill get on with something more productive then, like making my own nation's article a bit more fruitful. ;-) --Arturria 19:21, 22 Mar 2005 (GMT)
