Draconis Federation is the founder and delegate of Draconis Expanse. Draconis Federation has compulsory military service for any Dracon ten years old for exactly twenty years (for any Human twenty years old for exactly five years), they are then allowed to choose between a military contract or civilian life. Draconis Federation's population is 90% Dracon and 10% Human, the Human minority does not suffer at the hands of the Dracon majority. Which is very common among Human majority nations, that the Non-human minority suffer at the hands of the Human majority.
Draconis Federation has no official religion though the population is 99.99% Gaian.

Government
Draconis Federation is ruled by four governing bodies: the Consul, who approves or vetoes actions taken by the Senate; the Senate, which writes laws, directs taxes and expenditures; the Supreme Court, which interprets the laws and has the power to declare them unconstitutional; and the Council of Ancients, which doesn't have any political power but has great influence and has the support of the people.
Draconis Federation's Consul is Dala Vedra, and its Foreign Minister is Yula Qwei'tra.
Elections are held annually. Only full citizens who have passed a competency test in reading, writing, arithmetic, and government may vote. Full citizens may vote at any age, but people who don't serve either in the military or politically rarely become full citizens.
