history
A small group of rock crawlers in modified 4x4s set out to circumnavigate the globe. They failed in their attempt but that is another story. Upon reaching the Carpathian mountains, one of the axles broke off and they were forced to spend the night in a local inn. While the local machine shop repaired the axle the rest of the group decided to take a day of rest and explore the local ruins. They accidently tore down the ruins attempting to climb over them. The local villagers were in awe of the power presented by the small utilitarian vehicles and purchased the broken jeep from the travellers. It was completely dismantled and a factory set up to start duplication.
After a few years the natives with their new jeeps were getting restless and started exploring further and further out. Eventually a new country grew up around the factory and village.
