A picturesque archipelago of islands, the 10000 Islands region, renowned for its white-sand beaches and blue-green waves, is both a prosperous center of culture & a well-armed defense territory.
This region defends others in need through the Ten Thousand Islands Treaty Organization (TITO), which has defended over 450 regions to date. To join TITO, go to the 10000 Islands Welcome Center in the forum & sign up.
The 10000 Islands were featured in the NS Times Traveller's Journal on 10 September 2004 and received a very positive report.
Government
The 10000 Islands is elected through a part-elected, part-appointed legislative body called the Council of Nine. The current members of this body are:
- The Founder of 10000 Islands and Regional Chief Executive: Grub.
- The United Nations Delegate: Gluuland
- The four elected Senators:
- Thewsconia and Crackenback (serving through March, 2005)
- Boolari and Sheynat (serving through May, 2005)
- Three appointed Ministers:
- The Minister of Immigration: Sinn Féins Ireland (Appointed June 2006.)
- The Minister of Education: Fleeb (Appointed 31 December 2003.)
- The Minister of Labor: Parthini (Appointed 13 September 2004.)
- Other officers in the Government:
- The Cartographer-General: Beta Aurigae VII
- The Registar-General: Parthini
- The Field Commander of TITO: Grub & Fleeb
- TITO Tactical Officers: Crackenback, Boolari & The Peoples of Yavanna

The Islands are one of the few regions to feature organised political parties.
- The Islands currently have four registered political parties.
- The Liberalistical Party
- The Assembly of Conservative Nations
- The Social Democratic Party
- The Moralist Party(Now merged with the ACN)
The Islands mainly exist through their forums, including Taco Island, a very popular gaming sub-forum. They also have an active RPing forum.
