Brief History:

Founded on April 17th, 2004, Sinn Féins Ireland is the oldest of the 3 nations comprising of the Sinn Administration with over 6.6 billion citizens. The nation is generally referred to as 'Sinn'. The leader of the Administration bears the same pseudonym, making identification immediate and interchangeable.

Sinn was delegate of 'The New Age Soldiers' invader region from 23rd April 2004 to August 2005, at which time the administration moved both regions, and political allegiances, to 10000 Islands. Sinn has served since as Chairman of the United Progressive Party (UPP), Regional Reserve Chairman (RRC), Minister for Immigration (IMM), and as a member of TITO, Labour and Education. Sinn has developed the new university basis, and pioneered many innovations in the forum currency. Sinn has recently received the 10KI Legion of Merit for his services to the Region in the fields of economic growth and immigration work. 'The Taco Toting Minister and RRC of Sinn Féins Ireland' is a serving 'Council of Nine' minister in the region, nearing his 1st anniversary in the position of Minister of Immigration. Most successful attributed work includes the ' Sinnean Immigration Initiative scheme'. The IMM Initiative has ran since January and brought the population of 10KI back over 400, its highest in over 18 months.

The Delegate Years 2004-2005:

From The 23rd of April, the Sinn Administration took a leading role in producing the official documentation of the region. A Constitution, recruitment telegrams, materials pertaining to invading and an FAQ were drawn up by Sinn. The NAS Constitution: The New Age Soldiers Constitution contains the following laws and regulations that all nations of any degree, regardless of size, population, or political and religious belief, must adhere to, with consistency and diligence. Deviations from the constitutional laws, such as they are, will be met with swift retribution.

1.) New Age Soldiers is a raider region, under the protection and obligation to assist, a number of regions. Nations living within this region must have no quarrel with the NAS system of foreign affairs, or nations and regions outside NAS, with whom the region is affiliated.

2.) Any New Nation to NAS (new age soldiers) is asked to apply for UN membership with their nation, or if a secondary nation not within regional jurisdiction possesses it, then it should be henceforth emplaced upon the nation within NAS. This serves to make NAS a legitimate organization, and aids with every aspect of life within the region. You are allowed to possess more than one nation within the region, although it is preferred if one of these nations is within the UN. This is in order to carry out its function as part of a raider organization, which otherwise it is unable to do. Although no further corrective action will be issued if this request is not met, it is appreciated if you are to adhere to it.

3.) After residency in NAS has been obtained for a week or more, new laws are obligated upon nations. This includes the following: -30 minutes of COMPULSARY exterior recruitment in regions of The Pacific, North, South, East, or West Pacific. The time period of 30 minutes is to be carried out within the space of one week, as it is civic duty, to further the prosperity of the region. This is all that is encompassed by your nations mandatory labour quota. - Registration in the NAS forums. Registering in the NAS forums provides some of the final links of residency within the region. It helps to co ordinate you, and acts as a pedestal for voicing your opinions to the whole region. All information relevant to living in NAS can be found in the forum, and the address of which will be made explicit within the regional factbook entry. There are certain sections within the forum that are reserved solely for government members, and are hence password protected. Any readily accessible material pertains to public issues within and unrelated to NAS(A) life. Here you can start topics, in the general board before alluded to.

4.) To avoid the apathy and stagnation usually presented to regions, an activity monitor is running within the region. What this entails is that you must be active at least once every three days, unless sufficient reason is given prior to absence. If you fail to abide by the activity 3 day rule, the nation responsible for activity monitoring will present you with an official warning. This will however be the extent of the action taken, as although it is an inconvenience for other NAS members, your remaining within the region indirectly helps produce growth. No serious action can be taken against inactivity, although it is appreciated if you are to regularly sign in contribute to regional development, in whatever manner before made clear to you.

5.) An integral part of the NAS is the New Age Soldiers Army, the raiding organisation itself. NASA can only operate with the loyalty, and precision that any military organisation needs. Therefore, if your nation is part of NASA, then it must adhere to a chain of military command, and follow orders quickly and without question. With is one of the reasons for the activity monitor. Within NASA, there is a ranking or hierarchical system, and as in most areas, the ability to elevate yourself within this division.

6.) Revealing in public places (including regional headquarters, other regional or organisational boards etc) any information about present or future invasions (including the date, the targeted region, the participating nations or even the intention of making said invasion) is equal to treason and thus strictly forbidden. Any violation of this will lead to immediate regional ejection. In less-severe cases there could be official warning instead. Second warning leads to ejection and ban order. This is one of the few cases where an offence could lead to ejection. It will be made as unlikely as possible to implicate your nation in treasonable circumstance, as consistent reminders will be made present at close intervals.

The following comprise of your constitutional rights, as a member nation and resident of NAS:

1.) Any nation has the right to free speech within the region 2.) You can implace and revoke your endorsement of any nation without fear of persecution, as one of the fundamentals of a working society is democracy 3.) Any nation regardless of size and political and religious beliefs has an equal chance to prosper within NAS, to the extent of the position of delegacy or otherwise 4.) Any nation has the right to have permanent residency within NAS so long as they agree and adhere to the above laws and basic freedoms of others.

In the role of delegate, no raids were participated in, though alliances were brokered at various stages between the Rebel States of Heleth, Eire Nua, Minnesota, and The Desolated Lands. May 30th saw the attempted coup of Zadomtokal to take the delegacy, though this was unsuccessful. Whilst the NAS remained largely undemocratic, the founder, Tora Bora Talibans respected some elements of stability. The First Constitution was drafted by Sinn in early June of 2004 and implemented in July. Included is a groundbreaking 'Regional Labour Quota' comprising of immigration work. The relationship between the Sinn Administration and the leadership of the Pacific Region was always a good one. Francos Spain in July 2004 enlisted the help of The NASA to oust the ADN corrupted North Pacific Region. Sadly Francos Spain was killed in a car accident in August '04. In September, the creation of the AGA between Sinn and representatives from another region took place. The Anti Goontopia Alliance was founded in reaction to the aim of the then 40 strong Goontopia region empire, which aimed to take control of the UN by sheer volume. Eventual victory was obtained. In October 2004, after a Year In Power, Sinn Féins Ireland published the official Sinnian Manifesto (Apr '04-'05) to legitimise the long tenure as delegate.

The Sinn Administration began to take a wider interest in the interregional politics of Nationstates, striking up friendships with the Irish delegate Bohola, and the DEN leader General Powell. In November 2004, Sinn undertook private research into the deletion of Powell which was embued by conspiracy theorists with sinister connotations -of a DEN leadership/Moderator Coup. These suspicions were proven to be unfounded, and merely a mistake and Delete on Sight warrant had been issued. It was at this point that the Sinn administration made it's first contact with the notable defender organisation 10000 Islands, and it's founder Grub.

December 2004 proved to be the most defining moment involving Sinn Féins Ireland. The then leader of the DEN, General Tommy Franks began unprovoked attacks on the Sinn Administration after certain comments were made regarding the unfair moderator intervention of the USA raid by the DEN. The threats made extended to real life threats, and resulted in his deletion on the 10th of December. TITO Forces then occupied the DEN region.

The 10KI years '05-Present:

The Sinn Administration took a slower approach to government involvement than when in the NAS. Partly due to the recent and ostentatious U-turn in allegiance from invader to defender. Regional games such as the Snipers Guild (November '05) were suggested, and a prolific post rate began. Sinn has had the highest post count in the region for many months, easily warranting his deserved win of the prestigious 'Spam King' title in both 2005 and 2006. The introduction of Tacos as a currency coincided with Sinn's arrival in the region, and immediately -27th October 2005- blue prints for the economy and currency uses were created, many of the ideas in which were then developed and implemented. E.g the notion of prizes, advertising costs, wages, lotteries, and shareholding. Quickly, Sinn was offered the newly created role of Regional Reserve Chairman (RRC). The founding of The United Progressive Party was another event which brought Sinn to the fore of 10KI politics. It was founded by Sinn, Alfonia, and Elgarve (CTE) as the main rival to the ACN, though really to kick start a defunct political system. The UPP Manifesto was written by Sinn and amended by the 2 other founders, focusing exclusively on the principles of in-game politics, and taking an economic slant on things.

By the end of November, Sinn was established within the region, and in many junior government roles. As RRC, but also as a member of the 3 official departments -being Immigration (IMM), Education (EDU) and Labour (LAB). It was in the capacity of EDU member, that blue prints for University Revitalisation were created by Sinn. Under the leadership of Goldenloser, the University project would combine the 3 studies of Regional Economics, Regional History, and TITO Studies. As head of the Economics Faculty of 10KIU, Sinn helped spearhead the new project.

The January delegate election saw Sinn act as campaign manager for Gluuland having previously in that month stood for election to the Senate against Jesioneka, before pulling out early in 2006, under the agreement that the UPP could push for Wage reform in the Co9. The Issues of RRCFTP and ATT were brought before the Council at various stages. The next Economic change came in April '06 when Sinn laid out the foundations of a 10KI Private Sector, which would allow for the creation of companies as profit based organisations offering wider goods and services in the region. In early april the new Regional Reserve Marketplace boards were created, and the blueprints for a stock market were also created. Regional slow down and shockingly fast immigration depreciation ensued after this time, stymying the growth of the private sector beyond the month of May.

In June 2006, Sinn was named as Minister for Immigration, finally securing a Co9 position and influencing government. The population continued to decrease to detrimental levels until the one-time UPP policy of Tag Team recruiting was reinstated by Sinn and Jesioneka in early September. The population reached 201 at its lowest, climbing again until around November. After this IMM tailed off again until January. By January 6th, 2007, the population was around 280. Sinn created the 'January Initiative' in response to the latest decline. The success of this scheme spawned monthly initiatives, all encompassed under the banner of the 'Sinnean Immigration Initiative'. The Current population is around 420, the highest level in 18 months. Around early October ('06), the desire to export the currency system to enhance interregional relations, going so far as intergovernmental trade agreements, tourism, and political party affiliation between 10KI and other regions became apparent. Otupia (then Senator) and Sinn spearheaded the mission until Otupia's loss in the November elections. In October the UPP manifesto was updated after a year in existence to represent the ever changing climate in 10KI. It has been updated subsequently to reflect the new two party system, and AoN. The UPP remains under the chairmanship of Sinn, currently with around 15 members.

By the beginning of June the combined population of The Sinn Administration had reached over 16 billion, amassing years of experience, and numerous titles and positions. Sinn is considering standing for delegate if an election should be called in the following 4 months.
