The Adam Island Baseball League (AIBL) is the top baseball league in The Republic of Adam Island. It contains the best baseball talent in Adam Island. The AIBL is made up of 8 teams, and each plays 120 games in a season from April to August. The team with the most wins is crowned the champion.

Long considered Adam Island's national game, the sport of baseball finally organizing into a professional national sports league in 2001. Local clubs have played each other in various levels of organization for centuries, but our modern era has codified the rules and set up a league consisting teams representing of Adam Island's largest and most historical cities.

Organization

Each team is owned independently and purchases player contracts, secures stadium use, and manages television and radio contracts for its own team. There are 8 minor league teams, each affiliated with a major league team, that the AIBL team can use to store developing talent. This prevents teams from crowding their rosters with less-deserving players for fear of another team snatching them before the talent is developed.
