History
Founded in 1039 AD as a port and trading village by Persian traders, the city has had slow but steady growth. The city was affected by the American Airstrikes in 1976
City
The City Centre of Al Jeddah is not like its other counterparts in the rest of Al Khalidha, high-rises are rare on the skyline though the city centre does suffer from overcrowding. Some of the buildings from the airstrikes are still partially damaged, though some attempts have been done to repair them. The city is full of heavy industry, a lot of the oil from the Al Khalidhan oil fields gets processed through here.
