Alexander Jameson

Born Alexander Charles Jameson in the Wynham district of Central Cliffton , Maanenland, Alex started his political career campaigning for the Communist Party of Mannenland and stood for election at the age of 18 for his home constituency of Wynham West at which he recorded a dismal turnout. After the election he switched his allegiance to the rapidly expanding "Mannenland First" party and rose quickly through the ranks after delivering memorable and moving speeches to the party faithful at the annual party confrences.

Despite achieving some fame and admiration from the public he failed to secure an election seat at the following general election. Somewhat dismayed he signed up for the Royal Maanden Navy as a sonar operator and the then new submarine fleet . After an realitvly uneventful 12 year term there he stood once again for election for his party but this time in the safe seat of Ternpool Western. Following the death of Winston Moon (the parties leader) he stood for leadership not expecting to get very far. Much to his surprise and the surprise of many the realitvly unknown Alexander Jameson became the party's 23rd leader and successfully won the following election on a radical reformation policy of privitisation and the scaling back of the welfare state.
