Being born on Imperial Day -- the nation's founding date -- Alexis Travis often felt overshadowed on her own birthday. Known with affection as Allie Travis, she followed in the footsteps of her brother, Mark Travis, and attended the Keystone Bay Military Academy. To the surprise of many in her family, she graduated fifth in her class. After graduation, she was commissioned as First Lieutenant in the Imperial Army -- given an equal rank to that of her brother.
When the Isla De Plata War broke out, Allie was pinned to Ko Sorex's 1st Infantry Division and landed on Red Sector C as part of the land invasion. She bravely served in classified missions throughout the city of Tagdenbar, operating under the command of her own brother, Mark, in the Blue Light Operatives. She was commissioned a colonel following her actions in Tagdenbar.
After Fort Rith was attacked and the Colerican Civil War erupted, she served valiently in the Colerican Civil War; attatched to the 1st Corps ("Hamle's Boys"). During a small fight in the state of Renna, she recieved shrapnel to her wrist. Her minor wound earned her a Purple Heart. After her injury, she was sent back to the reserve lines, to be used if needed. Folowing the Confederate's surrender, she was placed on inactive military duty during the Reconstruction Period.
