Overview

Andestranne: The City

A medium sized city located on the northern coast of Nedalia, its population is just about 600,000 with its suburban areas included. Known for its cold winters and beautiful summers, Andestranne is very European in both culture and architecture. Canals are a common site, European cafes are everywhere, and promenades are plentiful. People enjoy life here, with good reason: the residents are amongst the highest paid in the country. There is a thriving textile industry on the outskirts of the city, along with a good number of furniture factories, which get their wood from the very dense Griffin Pine Forest located about 20 minutes south of the suburbs of Andestranne.

The Botchfield Stadium

Built in mid-2 AFN, it was completed just in time for the inaugural season of the Nedalia Premier League. It can hold 38,765 people in its all seated facility. The locker rooms are top class, and the stadium also contains a gift shop, food stands, and a memeobilia hall. The pitch is made from artificial grass (turf), so that it will be in playable condition when the heavy northern winters come along.

Owners and Sponsors

Sponsors: Falasturian company Jelavra Finances signed a contract deal in Year One for an estimated $4 million that will run for 5 years.

Owners: The team is owned by a few Andestrannian businessmen, the most prominent being Jorge Huss (owner of Huss Textiles, the biggest textile producer in Nedalia). It was reported they bought the team for $200 million.

Kit and Nickname

The team is named after the Nedalian Falcon, which is abudant in the area. Thus, the Andestranne Falcons. The kit colors are white, yellow, and black, with white being the predominant color in the home uniform and black in the away uniform.
