Anti-Goddess Unit

The Anti-Goddess Unit was a robotic combat unit fielded by the member nations of the Leninist Dynasty as countermeasure to the Incident. Only a single one was produced, and it was never intended to put the Unit into mass production. It was never designed as a combat unit, but rather as a weapons platform in humanoid shape, carrying equipment specifically designed to counter the Cyber-Goddess Asumi.

The Anti-Goddess Unit, produced basically as a remake of the Great War / World War III / World War 0's Yamato Mecha, though smaller (37m compared to 40m in size), fields much lower general technology than a Mecha, and has lesser combat power. The Anti-Goddess Unit could never stand up to a Mecha in direct combat. However, the AGU puts in use several sophisticated devices to make it efficient against an opponent relaying mostly on SPIRIT-based attacks, rather than direct firepower. The Unit itself is but a huge, walking piece of tank plating in humanoid shape, mobilized by motorized joints, yet it carries top technology. The Unit fields RCA plating on it's upper torso developed by the Leninist Dynasty, as well as the Viper-ATC cannon, which can disrupt magic/ki attacks by firing laser beams adjusted to a special frequence. The only direct combat armament, however, are flamethrowers in the palms of the robot's hands, and additional Comet Flame-Cannons attached to the Unit's knees. These weapons are only short-ranged and no match to the Laser Artillery rifles fielded by the Yamato Mechas. The main weapon of the unit, designed to deliver the final blow to the Cyber-Goddess, however, is the A.W.S., a weapon that makes use of the connenction of the Goddess to the Power Of Darkness, which she herself is not aware of, yet the scientists involved in her creation knew of. The A.W.S is capable of completely depleting every being using Dark Energy from its energy ressources and trapping it in complete physical and mental paralysis. The weapon makes use of energy drained from the Ragnarök Sword contained in it's core, a weapon that was contained in a meteorite which was part of the Demon Meteor Shower and landed in the Northern Capital of occupied Germany. The rebell Siegfried got hold of the sword, and it was then claimed for the Leninist Dynasty's Red Army by special agent Lime, who managed to retrieve it from the Belisar group in the Eastern Capital. This was at the same time the Belisar group raided the town during the chaos following the UCA raid on the town. The Belisar group even managed to destroy the unfinished Anti-Goddess Unit, which had been stored inside Red Tower. This threw the development of the Unit back, but it was ready in time to be fielded as part of the U.E. Force that attacked the crashed Heaven's Fortress at the North Pole. After the the destruction of Earth (Please Note: NORTHSAGA Earth only) after Incident II / Awaking Of The Devil, Martinovikh of the Leninist Dynasty as well as Belisar were reborn in parallel universe's earth. Martinovikh there develpoed, though unaware of his previous life, a giant robot quite similar to the AGU, though drastically superior in firepower, the Anti Demon Unit. Several weapon systems and the design for the Anti-Goddess Unit can be bought from the U.E. army ([Storefront]) nowadays, though it is not produced anymore.
