History
Hargon tribe that originated somewhere on Polish territories 4000 BC was lead by despot military leaders but villages where governed by tribal councils. During that peroid Hargonians established contact with Celts and applied their runic writing symbols from older futhark. When Roman Empire started to crumble Hargonians played an important role in it's destruction. This tribe moved to Burdigal region and became Roman foederati in 484 AD under the rule of Huge the Stonearm that renamed Burdigal to Petropolis. Establishing of feudal kingdom in 523 AD occured when Erythianos the Stormeye titled himself a King of Petrana Kingdom. He ruled quite long until 617 AD when Marchants' Council in Ostia lead a rebellion and overthrown feudalism. They ruled a corrupted oligarchy until they were conquered in 812 AD by Christian France. Many legendary and mistical heroes of fights with Muslims are known. Alex Deleonor and his wife Justinea or Ristofan the Blackberry are a notable samples.
* Socialism - in 1871 current oppressive King Gabriel the Cruel was overthrown when socialists has made a deal with the Army. For over 30 years socialists and syndicalists where forcing their ideas in the People's Council until the Arakarian Army forced an elections for first, democratic government.
- Democracy - this system has a long tradition. The People's Council was created by Lord Alex Deleonor to consult his decisions with the People in 1251. But until 1856 it wasn't main governing body. On May Day - which is also a Labour Day - socialists and syndicalists formed a Coalition of Labour (CL) and started open, free, democratic elections for the first time in Arakarian history.
Today Arakarian government is a mix of democracy, monarchy and socialism. Military coup that ended socialists monopoly never meant to destroy dreams about equal society. Army rebels also restored Monarch (called Blessed Elect) as official head of state - originating from original dynasty. Recently Blessed Elect recieved full power but People's Council is still operational and its advices are still highly regarded by sole ruler that want to soften socialist laws and introduce economic development.
Geography
Arakaria is a small nation that is situated between the Sea of Falling Stars and the Green Mountains that protect over a half of it's borders. Road network is quite well developed on county but its quality leaves many wishes. There are few railroads and more are planned. Arakaria is full of wilderness but it gets more civilized every year. Main terrain landmarks:
- The Misty Marshes to the north are going to be dried in preparation for new settlements but government promissed to leave quite large National Park of the Misty Marshes.
- The Green Mountains aren't tall but are quite forested and have some unique features.
- The Isle of First Star or the Isle of Justinea is dominated by grasslands with some hills in the middle.
- Ina River is largest river in Arakaria. It begins in the Green Mountains and enters the Sea in the City of Arakaria.
- The Mistic Forest has earned many legends and fairy-tales because of many misticians and prophets that somehow related to this forest.
- The Dark Forest is a stunning National Park. It's dense but the further you go it, the lighter, more beautful and interesting it gets.
- The Sea of Falling Stars is named so because Arakarian first settlers experienced many beautiful and frightening views of falling stars over the horizon of this sea.

Justinea was Lord Alex Deleonor's wife and great heroic archerer during the Siege of Lastria.
Aracus was Deleonor's Devoted Holy Horse of Justice.
Ristofan the Blackberry was heroic general that overthrown corrupted Merchants' Council and restored despotism after 200 years of oligarchy. His favorite weapon was the Sling of Justice - legends say about it's legendary magical properties. Ristofan was very short but that never stoped him from gaining respect in his army.
