Archibald V was Emperor of Magnus Valerius, and he was the last of illustrious and legitimized Cambridge rulers which ruled for several centuries over the Empire. His reign was short but it was full of potential before the Valerian Orthodox Church hatched a conspiracy to eliminate the Cambridge Dynasty.

Early Life

Archibald was born as the first son of Empress Victoria I Velikaya and her first husband, Domenico Trevisan. Domenico Trevisan was a man of power and wealth from Nova Venezia who often took baby Archibald on trips to Nova Venezia. Domenico dotted on Archibald (whom he nicknamed Domenichik, or "little Domenick"), and Victoria smothered Archibald with care and good tutors. Marino Zen, the Doge of Nova Venezia at the time, sent the young Archibald a miniature set of dogal robes as a gift to Trevisan's first-born son (The Zen and Trevisan families were close). However, Archibald was a "troublemaker" according to his tutors. He always wanted to do things the way he wanted and often asked too many questions. This got his father into squabbles with various teachers on behalf of the Empress.

Archibald's younger brother was born in 1526. He was named Leon, and Domenico decided to make Leon the heir to the Trevisan estate back in Nova Venezia. Domenico did not neglect Archibald.
