Arrozal Zipoetes (born June 2nd 1947) is the present de facto Dictator of the Armed Republic of Zhaskev and is a member of the Chief Council of Zhaskev, holding the portfolios for the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of External Affairs

Early Life

Zipoetes son of Ara & Yelena Zipoetes was born in the city of Muskorj. He attained a local high school and spent a year overseas which he described as perhaps the most enjoyable year of his life before attending State University of Arkaja and graduating with a degree in Industrial Psychology. In 1972 he joined the Zhaskevian Air Fleet (ZAF). He served as a pilot on the remote Karber Pass Airbase that dealt with border and airspace disputes on Zhaskev's north-eastern border. During this time he operated a number of craft, most notably the ZiL-86 and Zl-79 Zhaskevian produced attack helicopters and eventually assuming command of the base's Mi-24 attack helicopter squadron. He attained the rank of Colonel in 1986 and turned to administering the base.

In 1989 he left the ZAF to pursue a career in politics on the suggestion of his dying father. Although his family name was already well-known throughout Zhaskev, it took sometime before he was finally elected through proving himself to the people and the various regional councils to eventually sit on the Chief Council in 1997.

Since then he has been championed by the ZIPC (Zhaskevian Interior Police Corps) for the increased Law & Order budget successfully passed in 2002.

Since his entry into the Chief Council he has strongly advocated relations with Russia and Zhaskev's neighbouring states, many of whom depend on humanitarian aid Zhaskev offers for trade concessions. He has also been the key organizer in sending Zhaskevian military units to stabilise civil conflicts in other parts of the world when they have been requested in places like Croatia and Chechnya.

Quotations

From an International Assembly debate

But if they are truly looking for weapons of mass destruction overseas, they might be inclined to look in their own bunkers, or in those of the army that has just landed in Arabia illegally against the will of the UN

Annual Zhaskevian Public Conference

..should they decide to extend their branded "freedom" into the rest of the Middle East it will not come without physical consequence..
