Asgarnian Marines

The Asgarnian Marines are the primary support branch. Their job is to "Be the first in, and the last out" of a combat area. They also operate air, land, and sea vehicles. The Asgarnian Marines are a very large force and are very dangerous. The requirements for acceptance are the strictest in Asgarnieu.

History

The Asgarnian Marines were formed in 1794 by Master General Nathan F. Robertson, II. He went to the Emperor, Andrew IV, and informed him of their usefulness. Emperor Andrew IV accepted, and in 1796, the first Marine Regiment was developed. They were carried on naval vessels to attack enemy sailors on adjacent ships when boarding. They, now, are one of the most powerful military branches in the world.
