Athena Papistikas (b. 1938) is the only woman to serve as Prime Minister of Pacitalia. She served as the head of state and government from 1977 to 1985. A prominent member of the Liberale Party, Papistikas is known for her charm, unbelievable intelligence in strategy formation and remarkable wit. She was replaced by Giorgio Cassata of the Conservativa Party after she completed her second term.

Papistikas was born in Medomanto, in the island province of Acqua Verdi, in May 1938. She completed her Master's of Law at National University in Timiocato in 1954 and immediately moved into politics for the Liberal Party (now the Social Coalition). She was elevated to party leader after a bitter leadership battle in late 1976 and subsequently won the federal general election of 1977 with a slight majority.
