The government has cut its subsidies for all special interest groups, the government regularly hires contractors to construct high rise apartments, government-run screening operations remove embryos with severe genetic disorders, and jails have become colloquially known as 'vampire houses'. Crime is crippling. Aurania-Shifre's national animal is the Kiwi, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Euro.

The Free State of Aurania-Shifre was the United Nations delegate for the Kingdom Region and is it's recruiter. Aurania-Shifre as a nation is currently under a democratic government.The nation was founded on December 21, 2005.
