The Free State of Aurania-Shifre is a massive, socially progressive nation, remarkable for its complete absence of social welfare. Its hard-nosed population of 1.476 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of the Environment, Law & Order, and Public Transport. The average income tax rate is 10%. A large private sector is dominated by the Information Technology industry.Aurania-Shifre's national animal is the Kiwi, which frolics freely off the coast of the nation, and its currency is the Euro.

The Free State of Aurania-Shifre was the United Nations delegate for the Kingdom Region and is it's recruiter. Aurania-Shifre as a nation is currently under a democratic government.The nation was founded on December 21, 2005.

After the Hardrock Revolution of August 2006 Aurania-Shifre's government was changed from Imperial Rule of Emperor Honesto IV and Empress Laurelle I along with Proletariat Savino to a more democratic state. The three of them were charged with high treason, embezzlement and corruption.Theny were exiled forever and their wherabouts are unknown. Soon after Alexandrina the crown princess was crowned Alexandrina IX, but she holds no actual power. Former Senator Jonathan Mirelles was elected from the Conservative Party to serve as Prime Minister.

The capital was also moved from Laéstrella in Shifre to newly made Olympia City in the middle of the nation.
