The Beningrad Airports Railway Connection is a hight speed underground rail system that connects the two major airports in Beningrad. It was built at the same time as Beningrad Domestic Airport to make flights connections with Beningrad International Airport on the other side of the city easy.

History

Shortly after Sorthern Northland declared independance it was clear that one airport would not be enough be Beningrad, so the decision was taken to expand the main airport and turn it into an airport dedicated to international air traffic while building a airport that would take the strain of domestic travel off the main airport the other side of the city. This would have made connections from domestic to international and vice-versa tricky, so it was decided that an underground railway system would be built to accomodate travellers travelling between the airport.

Infrastructure

The railway does runs about 20 hours a day with 1 hour each side of airport opening and closing times. Vital track maintenance must also be done at night nessatating the closesure of the system. First trains on the network start operating shortly after 04:00, running until around 00:00.

Stations

The network has a total of eleven stations, one in each of the two terminals at Beningrad Domestic Airport, one in each of the eight terminals at Beningrad International Airport, and one in the centre of Beningrad.
