Beret Vert

Beret Vert (French for "Green Berets") is a Chinese-trained para commando unit stationed in Kinshasa and Kisangani. Before the Kabila rebellion, they were, like most other units, poorly trained, barely paid, and thus highly ineffective. After being subjected to a new training regimen and provided substantially higher pay, their performance has improved considerably, and they now provide adequate defense.
