The Big Three is a political science term used to describe, as a group, the Grand Archduchy of Hamptonshire, the United Kingdom of Oceania and the Democratic Capitalist Republic of Pacitalia. The term is a response to the extensive economic, political, diplomatic and military influence wielded in the international arena by the three countries, both individually and as a single unit. All three countries rank in the top echelon in terms of gross domestic product, individual income, household income, purchasing power parity per capita, as well as in social freedoms and rights. All three countries field well-funded and well-trained military forces that have actively performed in conflict defending the interests of liberal democracy in general, or themselves in particular.

The term is also used to describe the common interests (security, diplomacy and economic prosperity) the three states share. Many external analysts have shied away from referring to the states individually and are now simply referring to happenings in "the Big Three states", pointing to a perception that Hamptonshire, Oceania and Pacitalia are experiencing a new wave of neofunctional and political integration.
