ABOUT BLU-TAC

Blu-Tac is one of the youngest, yet most economically powerful nations in the region Lancre, it was founded in the early months of 2005 and has played a prominent role in both the region USA Empire before moving to Lancre, only leaving the first page of the daily UN report of Lancre twice to date.

POLITICS OF BLU-TAC

Blu-Tac is either ruled by a small effective Thatcherite Conservative government or a mass of multinational companies, experts are split on which. It is ruled by President Taccy II and his team of experts. Preparations are being made for the inauguration on Bob Bluey, the nations current Vice-President, who will take office for a few days before facing the publics vote on May 5th to decide whether he should stay or should hand over office to either the Conservo-Republican candidate, The Lord Tac, Baron of Deropa, or the Leader of the Blu-Tac National Party, Glen B. Taccian. Whichever way the election goes, a right-wing party will be in power.

The nations police are more intent on removing political-correctness and illegal immigrants rather than other criminals and its hospitals and school were recently privatised resulting in massive tax-cuts for the citizens. The pesident is intent on cutting back governemt waste and beurocrasy in the hope of attracting foreign investors and the extreme far-right Blu-Tac National Party was recently told to shut-up in the hope of attracting useful immigrants to serve the foulest jobs in the country. Libertarians and liberals have been outlawed for quite some time and anybody defacing private property is awarded a very harsh and unliniant punishment.

BLU-TAC ECONOMY

Blu-Tac has one of the most stable economies in Lancre and the people responsible for that are awarded annual prizes of government funds, meanwhile the failures are overcrowding Blu-Tacs many jails. The fastest growing companies in Blu-Tac are the Erotic Industries and the massive soda-pop corporation "Mountain Doobie", car manufacturing, gambling and woodchip exports are also high on the list.
