The United Socialist States of Bulgoria is a very large, safe nation, remarkable for its punitive income tax rates. Its hard-nosed population of 75 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.
It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Law & Order, although Defence and Education are secondary priorities. The average income tax rate is 62%, and even higher for the wealthy. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Arms Manufacturing.
The government is making attempts at curtailing the flood of spam emails with little progress, the government is attempting to impose a new national language on the public, torture is commonly used to extract information from suspected criminals, and all streets are privately owned toll roads. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Bulgoria's national animal is the white wolf, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the lev.
On the 21th of September 2007 all the free governemnt leaders were shot,and Bulgoria became a dominion after a blitzkrieg type revolution.The future of the Industry and army is still not clear.
On the 26th of september 2007 socialist forces,aided by the people stormed the governemnt building,killing every politician they can get theyr hands on.Currently the Bulgoria is a United Socialist States union,otherwise said - USSB
Army
Bulgoria's army is the biggest in the region,with 7 (56 million officially from 2008) million soldiers,and 14 million additional personell.The Army is divided into three parts : Bulgorian Military Airforce,Bulgorian Land Troops,and Bulgorian Dominion Navy.Bulgoria's main rifle is the AK-101 with a grenade launcher,and a modernised gas mask.The main tank is the KU22,Bulgorian made,only for use in its own army.Main plane - MiG - 21 and 200 MiG-31's.

Bulgoria is the founder of the UACC Currently its one of the best states in the union,and it is in very friendly relations with the other countries.
Fall of an Empire
On the 29th of September 2007 the southern states applied for semi - Autonomy.The Bulgorian Government was shocked,that the south wanted autonomy,although 60% of the country's GDP was going into developer programs for the them.The debate started for the future of Bulgoria started.Here are the main positions of the different sides
"The government is too centralised," complains rural villager, Beth King. "We get these big-city politicians making rulings that affect our way of life, when they have absolutely no idea what our way of life is! One of them even suggested that farmers should be banned from picking crops in case they disturbed the local wildlife! What we need are various councils to govern their own part of Bulgoria, giving us the chance to have our say on laws affecting our area. It'll bring politics to the people! Of course this will require the implementation of a council tax to fund it all, but if that's the cost of more political freedom, then so be it!"
"Councils? Are you mad?" gasps political commentator, Naki Jefferson. "Most of the politicians we already have earn very large sums each year - and you want to employ even more?! We must not listen to the whims of some dangerous separatist movement; next they'll be wanting independence! I suggest we keep the government in one place where we can keep an eye on it and stop creating more jobs for over-paid politicians. Heck, why not trim off the ones we don't need while we're at it and give some leeway to the taxpayers? Anyway, if we allowed places like West Bulgoria to make decisions for themselves, they would soon be introducing laws allowing them to marry their cousins or something - you know what they're like..."
"These people are obviously power-hungry lunatics," whispers Larry Rifkin, one of your innumerable advisors. "They're simply trying to loosen your grip on the nation! Let's just send anyone who opposes your absolute rule to the gallows and ban elections. We hardly need them when you always know what to do! There may be some protest, but we can just lower taxes and they'll be as happy as clams."
The Bulgorian Government chose the third option,which was fatal.On the 30th of September south rebel alliances attacked the department of rule in Esht,the biggest city in souther Bulgoria.They took control of the rule over half of the country.In the same time,in Nit,the official government thought how to restore order to the south.There was only 1 option available.Deployment of 1st and 2nd armyes in the territories of former Souther Bulgoria.
