These are the first known records of the caliguan empire were in 455 BC In that time period the empire was ruled by Addreocyn I and his kingdom was known as Caligula Regnum Caligula Regnum was split into city states:
Cagila
Uphir
Nybrasden
Agaliarept
King Addreocyn I unified these lands , brought about a real governing body to rule these states in a real kingdom. Caligula Regnum was completely landlocked and with a burgeoing population exspansion was needed especialy to the coast.King Addreocyn I marched a army of some 7,200 professional soldiers and invaded the coastal realm of Sargatanas which was a small nation controlling only 100 square miles of coastline and around 25-32 square miles wide. Sargatanas was quickly conquered providing Caligula Regnum with maney vital port cities. In 437 BC King Addreocyn I died at the young age of 36 , leaving much doubt about who would be the next king. Having produced no heir the goverment of Caligula Regnum was in termoil without a monarch the kingdom King Addreocyn had help create would collaspe , there were 3 eligable candidates to become the next ruler:
