Moderatium is a liberal democracy located in NaBUrean Earth. A liberal conservative party, (financially) supported by the countries' corporations, has ruled over the last decades, with a overwhelming support to free market and conservative views on society. The Moderatuim's democracy is one of the strongest of the continent, with openly discussed controversial issues such as homosexual rights, abortion, crime and divorce; however, the government's conservative policy has never been affected by that. Corporations often ignore labour rights and are free to invest with little taxation and compete against each other, although the lack of anti-trust legislation has been mostly negative to the population.
