The Popular Republic of Catalunya i Llenguadoc (Catalonha e Lengadòc in occitan language) is a country located in Comedy Lane, region of NationSates.

System of Goverment: Federal People's Republic
President of Republic
The Catalan-occitan head of state is elected for a five year term by the Federal Electoral Assembly, and can't be reelected. The Federal President (President Federal) represents the Federation under international law and swears in the diplomatic representatives. At the First Minister’s suggestion he appoints the federal ministers, federal judges and federal officials – and nominates the Federal First Minister for election by Parliament.
First Minister
The First Minister (Primer Ministre) holds the most important office in the Federal People's Republic. He determines the political course and heads the affairs of state. After the parliamentary elections every four years he is elected by the Federal Parliament at the suggestion of the Federal President.
Federal Parliament
The Federal Parliament (Parlament Federal) is the parliament of the Republic and its supreme federal legislative organ. Its central task is to represent the will of the people. As the most powerful constitutional organ, its duties include passing federal laws, electing the First Minister and overseeing the work of the government. Members of Parliament are elected to four year terms.
People's Council
The People's Council (Consell Popular) is the popular constitutional organ in Catalunya i Llenguadoc, an additional legislative organ alongside the Federal Parliament. Federal or States laws which affect directly a group of people of the Catalunya i Llenguadoc must be passed by the Consell Popular. Through the Consell Popular, People show ideas and can stop or modificate a law if they have sufficent civil representation.
Catalunya i Llenguadoc's Federal Goverment
The Federal Government, the executive constitutional body, consists of the Federal First Minister and his/her Federal Ministers; together they make up the “Cabinet”. There are three principles that govern the division of labor in the Cabinet: the First Minister, the Colleague and the Responsibility principles. Each minister is responsible for keeping his department on the First Minister’s course.

Federal Council
The Federal Council (Consell Federal) is the federate constitutional organ in Catalunya i Llenguadoc, an additional legislative organ alongside the Federal Parliament. Federal laws which affect the responsibilities of the Catalunya i Llenguadoc states must be passed by the Consell Federal. Through the Consell Federal, the sates also play a role in the federal administration of the country and in European affairs. Members of the Consell Federal are appointed by the state governments.
