Chambobo only recently came into statehood under the great warlord Afagan in the region of Camajara, a small island region. For centuries it had existed, purely as a nation of people with no state to guide them. Then Afagan came around and took them to earth 6.

Geography

Total area:18,270 sq km

Chambobo is a geographically small, maritime nation. Its capital is Ñanta Orqoman on Viti Levu. The Chamboan ecosystem is pristine, with glittering, privately owned beaches and a bountiful Ocean.

The Yasawa Group is a national wild life reserve and is home to several very rare animals such as the aquatic garden snail, giant guinea pig, and for some reason, a Peruvian mountain llama.

Much of Viti Levu and some of Vanua Levu is entirely urbanized to house Chambobo’s over one billion population. Skyscrapers rise hundreds of feet into the air above Chambobo, only thinning out near the edges. Because of it’s concentrated condition waste removal and air quality condition is critical.

Of course the beaches are extraordinary too. Extremely strong environmental laws protect the Koro Sea from any pollution. Nevua Levu holds the most popular beachfront in Chambobo and is home to many of the wealthy of Chambobo.

Government

===District Reps=== Elected by the people of Chambobo, the District Reps pass local ordinances and hold trials. To preserve what little democracy Chambobo has left, almost all local rulings go through a referendum. ===National Assembly=== The Last Athority in Chambobo. Elected yearly by Distric Reps, their word is Law. A combined legislative and executive brach, the National assembly is usually led by coalitions between parties.

Note: When the national assembly is led by a single pary, it is not uncommon for that praty to have almost total control of the System, and the party leaders to be seen as the actual heads of government.

National Laws:

Compulsory Military Service: All people between the ages of 19 and 30 may be called upon to act for their nation in the military.

Education Free Through College: Education will be free to all citizens. Quality education must be readily available to all citizens. Citizens wishing to pursue an advanced degree must register with the National Board of Education.

Propaganda:

Propaganda in Chambobo is widespread and easily recognized; however it usually accomplishes the desired results.

Other:

====Antartida:==== A region of frozen waste, inhabited by courageous scientists. Established long ago, this colony has come up with some of the greatest scientific breakthroughs in Chamboan history. Contributing greatly to the efforts of moon colonization and other occurrences, these people are held in high esteem. Recently the technology that the government has permitted them to sell (mostly in the field of cold weather garments, robotics, biotechnology, and energy efficient architecture) has eliminated the trade deficit. temperaryimages1um.png

====Moon Colonies:==== The moon colonies were a failed attempt at greatness. Struck down by LB. After making several great discoveries Afgnwrlrd died and Parliament reversed its former decision and the research ceased.

-(The official document)

Proposition Moonbase

To be put before Parliament:

(Some salvaged information)
Engine
The Space Ship Engine is actually a four-part launch vehicle, designed to enable the Space Ship to complete its journey. Its first stage is the external booster rockets, which, much like the terrestrially launched shuttles of the late twentieth century, are solid fuel boosters and are jettisoned when they are no longer needed. The second part to the Engine is the Space Ship's solar sail, which was designed both to use the radiation emitted from our sun and Jupiter for propulsion and to collect atomic particles for further future fuel and materials. The third part of the Engine array is the ion drive, which will harness both nuclear power and collected hydrogen to propel the craft through space, channeling high-energy particles through the Thrusters. The fourth and most externally obvious component is the hydrogen solid fuel rocket, which will be used, in the final phases of the Space Ship's travel.

Life Support
Essential to the sustenance of human life are food, water, air, and heat, and the Life Support System provides all of these things. Recycling is the key to the Space Ship's Life Support System, and no organic component is left to waste in the vessel. Computers control the collection and recycling of waste, which is injected into large vats of algae which consume the waste or processed into fertilizer for the Space Ship hydroponics garden. Both the algae and the garden provide food and oxygen for the colonists as well as for their livestock, which consist of fish, shrimp, and a particularly hearty (and tasty) breed of Peruvian Mountain llama. Extra oxygen is processed in the air filtration system, which electrically divides water into hydrogen and oxygen molecules and separates them for oxygen and fuel uses. Excess heat produced by the Fuel Cells is also absorbed into steam pipes, which are used to keep the interior the vessel warm and to separate pure water out of waste water to a 99.44% purity the Life Support System has been carefully crafted to provide indefinitely the needs the colonists as well as giving them a basis for redeveloping a food chain on the eventual place of colonization.

Origins of Chambobo

The modern Chambobo is named after an old Chamboan Empire that once rivaled in power the gods. The height of it's power (circa 2010 BC) Chambobo had holdings on several of the great islands the region including Camaja "the Jewel of Camajara"; Rishdaa, a heavily forested island; and Isha the pearl of the east. Eventually the sea god, Onan, grew angry the power of the Chamboans (who were aided the spirit Maraja who they revered and who of old had escaped the clutches of Onan) and unleashed war upon them. The Chamboans, legend tells us fought valiantly the aggressor and many of their inhuman vassals (Chambobo Island was rumored to be honeycombed with tunnels of giant crocodiles reaching lengths of 45 feet or more) fought beside those who had civilized them, but not all resisted the sea god. A faction calling themselves "the faithful" allied with Onan. With the combined strain of fighting against Gungans (called "water goblins" by Chamboans Gungans profited greatly from an alliance with Onan, and became extremely advanced but died out around 240 AD as their religion required that they have only one child, their numbers dwindled slowly for decades) on many fronts and sudden wave of pirate attacks on their coasts by pirates out of the south, Chambobo fell and the island was flooded so that every fertile Vail and field was under wave. Only in the hills and mountains did they survive, for Onan could not bring these down. They belonged to the god of earth; Okvard and he would have none of it. So the Chamboans fell from power, and their former colonies grew and prospered then fought amongst them selves or the new comers out of the south.

Political Parties

There are several political “parties” vying for control of Chambobo. And they play dirty. Really dirty.

Fe Nueva

Fe Nueva (new faith) believes in a higher law -- one in which righteousness is fire, and justice is the light that shines from it. Led by Carlo Garcia “the messiah”, Fe Nueva is Chambobo’s most formidable military force. Fe Nueva is all about action -- they leave skepticism and doubt to others. Fate favored them, as it was just these traits that allow them to rise to power in the vacuum after the assassination of the Chamboan Parliament. Their absolute belief in justice makes them swift and effective in neutralizing any conflict.Supported by the local catholic church, they may be the most popular party of Chambobo.

Also Known As: The Junta

Leader: Carlo Garcia. After performing several miracles, the man Carlo Garcia was heralded as a messiah, or at least a prophet. A junta works behind him as the real head of operations, but gives Garcia all the Credit.

Headquarters: Casa de Dio, Tevua. A combined fortress, barracks, and place of worship. Widely considered impregnable, Casa de Dio serves as a symbol of military might and the base of operations for the Carabineros, the division of the Junta that acts as Chambobo’s official peacekeepers.

Values: Passionate belief in law. To friends of Fe Nueva, they have unwavering faith and powerful devotion. To enemies, they are dangerous zealots willing to give anything for their beliefs. (9, -1)

Structure: Fully military. The Junta views Garcia as more of a figurehead than an actual commander-in-chief. Still, many generals revere him and would heed any command he gave.

Kunanchu

"Once you are with us, you are an equal among us. Until then, you are lost." Thus spoke the evangel Tolsimir, an agent of the Kunanchu. But the words might have been spoken by anyone in the Conclave. Depending on your point of view, the Conclave is either a selfless, nurturing, spiritual group or a brainwashing nature cult. The Kunanchu bolsters its membership through recruitment, bringing outsiders into the fold with ceaseless effort. Its structure is almost fully decentralized -- a large council of cardinals that is rumored to share a consciousness leads the Conclave. The Kunanchu make their home in Vitu-Ghazi, the ancient park in the center of Ñanta Orqoman's oldest and largest district.

Also Known As: The Conclave, Inka (derogative)

Leader: Communal leadership by all members, or so the Kunanchu claims. The cardinals of the conclave seem to share a consciousness that they can in turn share with others.

Headquaters: Vitu-Ghazi, once the oldest park in Ñanta Orqoman, it is now the cover for the headquarters and sacred “city” of the Kunanchu.

Values: The Kunanchu always seeks to grow. The Conclave has been accused of brainwashing citizens and police for labor and guardianship, and its evangels cry Kunanchu’s praises on every major street corner. (-6, 3)

Structure: Decentralized, communal, collective. Within the Conclave, ideally all are equals regardless of individual roles.

Rawa

Rawa, the Brotherhood -- a figment, a tale told to children to keep them in line. In folklore, the vampire lord Szadek founded the Rawa as an association of witches and dark magicians. Over the centuries, ghost stories about the Brotherhood grew more and more complex, telling of ancient, undead necromancer-advisors, phantasmal assassins, and slick, black horrors slithering through the endless maze of sewers under the city. In the modern world, Rawa is an association of secular revolutionaries, who, in the immensity of Chambobo’s megalopolises plan for the overthrow of the established way. The Brotherhood infiltrates powerful organizations and has roots in everything to do with Chambobo.

Also known as: The Brotherhood

Leader: Unknown.

Headquarters: None.

Values: Rawa wants utter control of Chambobo. Such absolute control requires complete invisibility so as not to arouse opposition. Therefore, Rawa works very hard to ensure that Chamboans don't believe the Brotherhood exists. They are anti-religious and capitalist. (7,-8)

Structure: Isolated cells. Each Rawa agent works in almost complete isolation. Often, any operative within the Brotherhood has just one contact, so that none have too wide a view of its dealings. Rawa leaders issue commands through messengers or other means to preserve anonymity.

Tiandihui

The Tiandihui is the Chamboan version of organized crime. Their activities include drug trafficking, money laundering, illegal gambling, prostitution, theft and other forms of racketeering. A major source of Tiandihui income today comes from the counterfeiting intellectual property such as computer software, music CDs and movie VCDs/DVDs. They also trade in bootleg tobacco products and part of the proceeds is thought to go to Rawa. Tianihui is only concerned in making money, and the conflict between the other parties has allowed it to work without much interference from carabineros. The Tiandihui contains many factions, from the corrupt labor unions, to the racketeering thugs, known as maleantes. Leadership of the mob is never uncontested.

Also known as: The Mob Leader: Contested. The Del Granado family is the currently leader the Mob. But Vincent Biruta has grown powerful enough to challenge them.

Headquarters: Believed to be in Ba.

Values: Money at all costs. Do what the boss says or else. (10, 4)

Structure: A predatory organism with many predators within it. Subgroups struggle for control.

===Peace and Freedom Coalition=== The PFC is the leading party in Chamboan politics, mainly because it is merely a great compramise between the 4 above parties. POlice without Military, Civil Service without Communism, Secularism without radicalism, and Capitalism without Corruption. Although, not really a party This coalition has many supporters and detractors that feel it is "too compramising." Because the national assembly must have a majority party and every member must come to a consensus, the result is this.

Also known as: The Pacific League

Leader: Jose Torbino. Great grandson of Sharbat Gula, Torbino is much like his ancestor in many ways. He is perhaps sterner and less ready to try new things, however, and this incenses many Chamboans that wish for a more charismatic leader.

Headquaters: Central Building, Ñanta Orqoman.

Values: Varied. (0,0)

Structure: Centralized organization. Uses mostly legit means to elect it's members. As a wide based organization it makes sure it sets it's policies strait and keep them strait.
