Kane Assassination

On 1998, while driving to the Hekloslogravian Capitol building in Lundburg, President Kane was assassinated by two monarchist supporters. When Kane's limosine stopped on Republic and 55th streets, a white sedan driven by Joseph Gregorelli cut the car off. Harry Largen jumped out of the back of the car, and shot open the driver's door on Kane's limo with an AR-16. Largen then proceded to shoot the driver, Kane, and the Attorney General, James Daren. John Operan, a police officer, tried to shoot Largen, but tripped, and was not able to save the president. Both Gregorelli and Largen were killed by police officers within minutes. The possibility of Operan being able to save President Kane, and the possibly different future is the pretext of N. Pigeon's Second Republic Series
