Formerly, second only to the Guild of Saint Christopher in commercial power in Namura, the Chiraz Sea Company is a trading empire unto itself. It has gone a step beyond even the Guild and become a land empire as well as a commercial one. With the recent fall of the Guild from grace, the Company has acquired many of the Guild's holdings, further increasing its strength.

Founder only two years ago (1727 C.E.) for the purpose of exploiting the recently unoccupied regions of the Northlands, the Company has come to control a landmass the size of several small countries and a private military force of more than 40,000 men and fifty warships to protect it. With the exploration and commercialization of the fabled lands of the East largely spearheaded by the Company, it is clear that the Company will only grow larger and more powerful in the time to come
