Wikipedia says that "A city is an urban area, differentiated from a town, village, or hamlet by size, population density, importance, or legal status. City can also be a synonym for 'downtown'. Cities vary in size, although the smaller ones can also be referred to as 'villages' or 'towns'."
In NationStates, cities are usually done in roleplaying. There are capital cities, major cities, and other kinds cities. They especially are important in war RPs. Many cities exist in NationStates. To see more, visit the category "cities."
