Geographically, Combienbar is located on the river of the same name below the great escarpment of the Errinundera Plateau. The River is fed by streams descending from the plateau rainforest. Below the city it meets the Errinundera River to form the Bemm River.
The city itself has fallen on hard times since the local gold mine reached the end of the lode. The rest of the nation doesn't often think about Combienbar. Nobody minds much. The river glides by. Life goes on.
