Commerece and Business in Allech-Atreus is a thriving sector of Imperial life. There are literally thousands of independent companies producing goods and rendering services across the whole scope of the Empire, pushing along the powerful Imperial economy.

Business

Business in Allech-Atreus is a thriving community. From the powerful family-owned conglomerates to the versatile small-time operators, the capitalistic system of Allech-Atreus is well-oiled and smooth.

There are many sectors to the Imperial economy, but the largest are Arms Manufacturing & Military Supplies, Transportation, Textiles, and Electronics. Some corporations, such as the gigantic Rengazaan Fleet Works, produce both weapons of war as well as datpads for the individual citizen. Takkarth Transgalactic, a huge family-owned business, produces civilian transport ships and warships, as well as runs the most profitable space liner transport business.

Banking and Money

Banking is also a huge business in the Empire. Many privately owned banks amass fortunes in the billions of klars, and it has been known for cash-starved bureacratic government appendages to apply for loans from private interests. The Imperial Standard Bank on Imperia Prime is the single largest bank in the Empire, holding accounts from all the major regions, and some from Tangallamarnay. However, not all banks are superpowered bastions. Recently, the Rengazaan Central Bank collapsed, largely due to overlending and embezzelement from government sources.

Commerce and Trade

Trading is a big business in the Empire. Trade flows in from Zurrian Space, Tangallamarnay, and Beldani, and trade flows out from the Empire. Across Allech-Atreus, transport freighters carry vital goods to the planets, driving the pistons of the economy.

Stocks and Finance

There are three major stock exhanges in the Empire, the Imperial Grand Exchange (IGE) based on Imperia Prime, the Kolthurnian Royal Exchange (KRE) located on Vanda Khal, and the Central Standard Market (CSM) located on Abdus IV.

Most foreign investments are regulated by the Directorate of Financial Services, an arm of the Grand Directorate of Economics.
