Congress of Strasbourg

The Congress of Strasbourg region was created by Great Strasbourg in January 2004. It did not have a real purpose until September, 2004, when VikingLife joined the region and suggested that he and a few other trusted nations cooperate in creating a neutral dispute resolution platform that specializes in arbitrating and mediating disputes between nations or regions. Essentially, the region one day seeks to become an alternative to a World Court.

The nations that currently populate the region are working together to divise arbitral and mediation guide lines which may one day be called upon by nations and regions across nationstates to resolve disputes. The process is now in a beta state. The process will be tested pending the establishment of the regional government.

The region is currently recruiting nations to assist in completing the region's by-laws and to fill positions in the regional government.
