Coscivian is a Language spoken in Kirav and its colonies, as well as several other nations.

Origin

Coscivian was first spoken in the now-desolate nation of Coscivia. When the nation was destroyed, its seven colonies continued to speak and write it. When Kirav began building its empire, it spread Coscivian with it, adjusting to the local needs of colonized or conquered areas.

Structure

Coscivian sentance structure follows a "subject-verb-object" form. Adjectives are placed before nouns, as are adverbs, unlike many languages that have adverbs placed indiscriminantly, and adjectives proceeding nouns. Verb conjugation is unneeded, as there are only infinitives and participles.

Written Language

Arguably, Coscivian's most distinctive feature is it's written form, The most comprehensive to the idea of the language is Kíh'êad, a semi-phonographic, semi-ideographic system, as well as others purely ideographic, phonogrphic, hieroglyphic, pictographic, geoglyphic, or specialized to certain fields. The language has been engineered so that it can be scripted in virually any writing system. THere are at least 53 different Kih'êadic scripts used throughout
