Danaan Ministry for Justice

The Danaan Ministry for Justice is a Cabinet ministry in the national government of the Resurgent Dream. The duty of the Ministry for Justice include enforcing the law, advising the High King with regard to those law enforcement powers attached directly to the Crown, and prosecuting suspected criminals in a court of law. In addition, the ministry represents the legal interests of Danaan citizens oversees in cooperation with the Ministry for Cooperation and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and combats, piracy, smuggling, and other crimes committed in international waters in cooperation with the Ministry for Defense, the Ministry for Coordination, and the Coast Guard. The ministry combats international organized crime and international trafficking in persons in cooperation with the Ministry for Intelligence and the Ministry for Coordination. In addition to heading the Ministry for Justice, the Danaan Minister for Justice is also the chairperson of the Standing Parliamentary Committee on the Judiciary. The current minister is Beatrice Wake.
